FIVE WAYS TO MEASURE

Match the instrument to the line.

A handheld spot check, a fixed monitoring point and a moving cable need different measurement arrangements.

START WITH YOUR ROPE

Cable diameter × tension capacity

Planning envelopes across each family. A single model does not cover every diameter and load combination. Confirm the exact rope profile, range and calibrated accuracy in your quotation.

THE CLAMP-ON PRINCIPLE

Small deflection.
A useful tension reading.

Three-point instruments sense the reaction produced by a controlled cable deflection. A suitable profile links that signal to axial tension for the specific cable construction and diameter.

Quick clamp-on operation keeps the cable ends connected. Our 3-second engagement goal requires confirmation for the chosen instrument and access conditions; it is separate from reading stabilization and safe positioning.

Understand rope-specific calibration →
  1. 01 / Identify the cable

Diameter, construction, material, coating and working tension.

  2. 02 / Choose the measurement mode

Stationary handheld, permanent bolt-on, running line or synchronized comparison.

  3. 03 / Define the evidence

Reference loads, calibrated points, report format and system acceptance.

GET THE CONFIGURATION RIGHT

Send the rope size. Define the load.

We will review cable construction, measurement range, access and output requirements with your RFQ.
